I generally wear 8.5 or 8W bc I have fairly wide feet but between these and the Swing-230 I ordered last summer the 8 tends to fit perfectly. They are not too difficult to walk in, as someone who doesn't wear heels. I was in marching band in high school and college tho, so the rounded soles force you to roll step a bit and I'm used to that. My only real difficulty is going up and down stairs.
