I normally wear a 7 1/2… I ordered a size 8. I also ordered a size 8 in the Shaker-100. These shoes are not made equally. These boots are very tight on the calves versus my shaker (not wide calves) do not squeeze my calves. I had to have my husband zip them because I couldn’t get it to close. Because they are tight on the calves, when you walk the boot and fabric bunches up at the ankle and presses in. The foot itself was also pretty small and uncomfortable. Versus my shaker-100 has plenty of space that I almost thought they were too big. The reflect on light was awesome. It’s a bummer that it’s not a better shoe and unfortunately bought on final sale. None of my friends who have tried them on have found them any better. In my standing photo you can see the ripples at the ankle.

Got several compliments on these.
Im an average sized gal, tall a and a size 9, the zipper is very hard to do up all of the way. If you have super skinny calves, these are for you. I don't know if they will be easier to zip the next time or not, but the first time I was really, really worried that I was not going to get them to zip or be able to wear them.

The absolute most comfortable line! I wore these at Lost Lands for 3/5 days and they were more comfortable than my hiking boots. I recommend getting 1/2-full size up so there is extra space for your toes. I’m typically an 8.5 and 9 was perfect! The color is also fab and looks great in pics.
