I have 3 other pairs of Demonia platforms and these are my favorite. I wanted something more "casual" than the Shakers for example, still platform but would hopefully hurt my feet less when walking around, and these fit that need. No cutting up the back of my ankles, had some little blistering when I wore them without socks but that was just after the first time. Have gotten many compliments on them while out and about too. I ordered a size up because I have flat, wide feet and feel good about that decision. My bf helps me loosen the ties when I need that. I've been wearing them a decent amount for the past month and they've been holding up, so hopefully they remain sturdy.
