Def the coolest pair of boots! Comfortable, I got a size smaller then I'd usually wear because the half size was not available so they are actually almost too small but I still love them and most importantly they look BAD ***

So, the details on this design are gorgeous. Love the extra corset lacing on the toe and heel. For me, the fit was all wrong so I felt wobbly and unstable because of how loose it was for me in the ankle and calf. I really wanted these to fit!! But oh well, I'll have to try something else. I will say that part of the reason I tried these was because I'm a plus size girl and a lot of reviews on other designs scared me off but reviews for this one made it seem friendly to larger calves. Meanwhile, I have narrow ankles so I struggle to lace up any boot tight enough to feel supported in the ankle, and apparently my calves are not plus sized(?)-- idk but even lacing these totally closed there was just a ton of room around the leg on these boots for me.
For any other plus size girls out there also feeling nervous about their calves: one think to take note of is that the "calf opening" measurement is just like any other parameter of the shoe: it will increase as the shoe size increases. I bought size 11, and I measured the calf opening at its smallest point (laced up as much as possible) and it's just over 15.25 inches where the shaft height is about 14 inches. Keep in mind the tongue is pretty wide, so there's a lot more room for wider calves if you don't have it laced totally closed like I did. The limit would most likely be determined by the buckles on the side, but... My point was that if you're judging by the measurements in the product description just try to remember that is…

they are very comfortable and beautiful, I got my size 40 EU as well as size 10, I can also use them with heavy socks and I have no difficulty moving... my feet are happy, and so am I.
