These are the absolute pinnacle of sexy boots. They fit like a glove up until the very top part of the calf. The lacing on the side is decorative only and unfortunately you cannot let these out like you can with other lace up boots, but they do zip all the way on my 17" calves. There are a few tiny elasticated panels at the top of the boot shift but you will get maybe 1/4" of ease. I feel like with time these will break in and stretch but my current work around is to zip them 90% of the way up and use the very long laces to secure the top of the boot shaft. They are unfortunately really hard to walk in, so these are strictly my indoor home sexy boots to parade around in and practice stiletto shoe walking. The heels are very skinny, true to stiletto, so beware if you are a klutz like I am. I bought a size 11 and am normally a 10, and these fit well without a lot of extra space. Comfort level is not really there per-se, since I'm not a veteran in stilettos, I would not recommend them for walking long distances. I got them mainly for the eye candy/skeleton vibe asthetic and they do NOT disappoint! Very pleasantly surprised at the lovely details on these. Absolutely adore them!!
