As much as I adore Demonia, I always have shopping anxiety with them. I have flat feet, so I decided to take a chance on these, since the incline & insole didn’t seem too steep. To my surprise , trying them on, they were comfortable immediately; to my surprise… but then I took them out in the real world. 😭 It’s one thing that Demonias shoes are inconsistent with sizing, I’m a 9.5 & went with a 10. I never know what will or won’t work. Sometimes I have gone with 11. It’ll either fit or be too big. I’m having to fight with these to make them work. I live in a hilly part of the country & I feel the pain the most walking up or down hill. My toe slides to the front. I can’t tell if it’s crowded (toe is wide on this model), or if it’s too small. The 11s would’ve been too big maybe???. Demonias exchange & return policy is very slow & takes up to a month. I’m not sure what to do. I bought some inserts to put under the ball of my feet to see if it’ll make my feet slide to the front less. It’s giving a little relief for the moment. Not sure where to go from here. I love the company & what they’ve done for the alternative subculture, but it can be a stressful shopping experience. 😓
But the most positive thing is the design. It is such a cool looking shoe & the variety of textures with velvet, fishnet, patent leather & metal makes me so happy.

I usually need a women's 12.5 but the size 12s fit me exactly! There are two issues: First, the tongue of the shoe can get caught in the zipper. It comes up over the flap that's meant to prevent that.
