These shoes are really beautiful and fit me well, snug but not painfully tight. They were comfortable and didn't feel like they were too high of platforms for me (usually I wear shoes with no lift) and I walked around my apartment with no issues. However, when I went to take them off, I pulled from the platform part of the shoe and it tore almost completely off with hardly any force. I wasn't pulling ridiculously hard, just the normal way I'd take off a shoe, and it tore like cheap paper. There was NO reinforcement a platform should have, no stitching to the shoe top, nails to secure it, nothing. Whatever adhesive that was used to secure it is much too weak to make them last. I was able to fix it with Shoe Goo, and it's luckily an invisible fix, so they look new still, but it's ridiculous that that could even happen in the first place. I pulled the other shoe off by the vinyl part and it didn't detach, but I may honestly do it on purpose so I can secure it better myself. I imagine that if not it'll break off my first time wearing them out of the house. Glad that I got them on clearance at least, but even still I paid over $50. I've had $5 secondhand sneakers that have lasted longer than these. My very old Demonia boots (as in, a decade+ old) have held up beautifully. If you're charging this much for shoes, make them high quality and longer lasting. Reading reviews from online it seems like countless others have this same issue. Per other reviews suggestion sized up and took 11, and it fits perfectly.
