These Riot-18BK (leather) are the perfect addition to my Riot-12 and Riot-21 boots. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Every buckle, eyelet, stitch was flawless as was the finish. The leather takes really good to a basic wax as I shined the toe and heel, leaving the rest natural. I recently walked 8 miles at Cruel World Festival in my Riot-21s over 10 hours, and I expect nothing less from these. Perfect fit and very comfortable.

I bought a pleather pair of these back in 2006 and wore them so much that the heels were worn down to an angle and the back heels of both boots completely fell apart. I LOVED those boots so much that I still have them in my closet and had planned on repairing them instead of getting a new pair, but I figured I ought to just upgrade. I'm very happy to have bought the new leather version. They're a bit stiff, but are comfortable once broken in. The outer soles are soft enough that you can walk silently.
Overall, I'm very happy with this pair!
