So my shoes were delayed due to weather but made it just in time to complete my Halloween costume. The only concern I had was how wrecked my feet were going to be given I wouldn’t be able to break them in like I usually do with new stompers (my heels and toes have been shredded before, and I very rarely take chances). Turns out, with a pair of thick socks and nothing else, there wasn’t any need to worry! These bad boys got me through about 8 hours on my feet party hopping and clubbing. They looked absolutely killer and didn’t murder my feet. The wide calf size was also a perfect fit for me and I’m so glad demonia offers more inclusive sizing. Lastly, the height is amazing. I’m 5 feet nothing and live in shoes that are at least slightly platformed, but these take the cake on giving me a height boost. Overall: 10/10 would recommend.

Note for buyers: I am a 7.5 for shoes that don’t require thick socks, but with thick socks the 8 for these shoes was a perfect fit.

I have not gotten to wear these much, and I'll be getting an insole for them, but they are just what I wanted. I wanted to cry when I tried these on, because it's not often that a knee-high boot will fit my big calves. I was incredibly wary about buying these for that reason alone. Now that I know that they fit, I'm seriously considering the Camel WCs. I was also concerned about having to size up since I am in between sizes. I don't see a problem with doing this at all. I slip slightly, but I think insoles will take care of that problem and be more comfy for me in the long run anyway.
