Ordering in a size larger than usual was beneficial, but the ankle area was a bit too large compared to the rest of the shoe and scrunched a bit when adjusting straps. Overall after tightening straps, these shoes become much more comfortable.

I really love the aesthetics and fit! Of course, I'll need to wear them more to break them in though as with all new shoes, boots, etc. I'm very content with my purchase, especially since I got a good discount around Black Friday. Overall these are very cool and have such a distinct look. The only downside is that they don't have a wide ankle. It would be cool to see Demonia do that in the future for us plus size goths. I sized up a half size so they have plenty of room in the toe box and across my wide feet. I like them so much I'm taking them to a local shoe shop who can help with the ankle thing.
