They are very comfortable once you break them in. The vegan leather definitely needs to be heated a bit to get it to be pliable enough to allow the foot to stretch it to form but it's nothing crazy. The boots hold a nice polish if you decide to slap some on to help protect them. I wish there was one more eyelet on the buckle straps to get a nice tight hold around the calf and top of the foot.
