I originally bought the Shaker 100 and it was a little too tall on my short legs but perfect otherwise. I saw the shaker 65 was shorter on the calf so I switched them out.
SO: I absolutely cannot recommend these enough. They are so comfortable and gorgeous. I added an insole just for extra support and they fit perfectly. I would say size up so your toes don't hit the end of the toe box unless you know your measurements will be fine in your size.
As someone who doesn't often wear platforms, the 4 inches was a bit daunting at first but these shoes were so comfortable that I actually didn't have any issues getting used to the extra height!!
For reference:
I'm 4'10", and the length of the shoe hits me right around upper calf and doesn't hit the back of my knee when I bend down (which is what happened with the shaker 100's.)
I wear a size 4-5 in women's, a size 3 in kid's shoes.
My calves are 14.5 inches and they fit nice and snug (without being uncomfortable either!!) If your calves are above 15-16 inches I would get the wide calf version.
I ordered a size 6 and they fit great with just enough extra room at the toes. (If you normally wear a 5, I would get a 6 so your toes don't hit the toebox when you walk.)
