The sizing runs large, they have a strong chemical odor that off-gassed upon opening the box, and there were white marks on the top of the boot that didn’t wipe off. They are going back.

These boots are one of the best decisions I've made recently. I wanted a pair of really tall black lace-up boots that didn't break the bank and weren't cheap-looking. I went with a men's 9 since I'm close to a women's 10.5 and it was the right call. The vegan leather looks really close to the real thing, and these boots are so tall that they hit the bottom of my knees, which is what I wanted. The only complaint I have is that there was a VERY small scuff mark on the toe of the right boot, but honestly, I don't care that much. I think I'll be shopping at Demonia again in the near future.

I am a longtime wearer and former seller of Demonia boots, and I have mixed opinions about this brand.
Their designs are indeed top notch, I loved my Gravels from the early 2000s. Unfortunately, I went through 3 pairs of them in just over a year because the leather was basically about as strong as cardboard.
I wouldn't have bought even a second pair if I hadn't been getting a deep discount on them back then.
Fast forward almost 20 YEARS and here I am reluctantly buying boots from them at regular price again.
Now, I put a serious hurting on any pair of shoes and my boots need to stand up to major abuse. The fact this pair lasted me just over a year of working in landscaping, concrete, and fast food along with shitloads of walking and running earns them a B+. Simply put, I would appreciate more durability from this brand, but this pair impressed me for once on that detail.
Watch out for the zippers, they unstitch badly over time. I have applied super glue to the seams to slow that process. The vegan leather is far more durable and lightweight than their real leather. Overall, a satisfactory performance at an affordable price. Oh, and they do look cool AF, which is one thing this brand is usually good for.
