I have bought quite a few pairs and use them as work boots. I get compliments on them almost daily! Someone even stopped me in Walmart to tell me how much they loved them. I'm an 8/9 in women's and got a 7 to ensure enough space for inserts. They need to be broken in, but are comfortable after that. Please don't ever get rid of this style, I love it too much! It a staple in my wardrobe!

These run large (still a little too big and I sized down) and are pretty uncomfortable. There are lots of uncomfortable places where they rub. I hope they get less painful as they get broken in. Also, lower quality than the pair of leather combats I had 15 years ago from Demonia.

The sizing runs large, they have a strong chemical odor that off-gassed upon opening the box, and there were white marks on the top of the boot that didn’t wipe off. They are going back.
