The way the boot is cut makes it nearly impossible to lace tight enough around the ankle that your heel doesn't come up off the sole of the boot when you walk. If I can get the ankle tight enough, the rest of my foot is completely strangled. If I can get the rest of my foot right, the back of my heel is rubbing half way up the back of the boot. I'm not sure how to fix the problem, but in all other ways the boots seem really good. Just that weird shape that costs me stability and comfort. The toe box has a lot of room which I am a fan of.

These boots are great! Just enough platform to wear longer pants with and to be able to drive safely. I love them so much, the only thing is that it takes a little bit to break them in around the ankle, otherwise amazing!
