Comfortable, mid-heel, tall boot
So, I have a pair of Rangers 303 in men's size 8 that are very comfortable but the heel height is 3 3/4 inches. The Bratty 206 has a heel height of 2 3/4 inches, still a good boost but a bit more tame than the Ranger. I love the zipper detail across the front and the way the zipper pull swings on the outside of the boot. That being said, I don't think the Bratty are quite as comfortable as the Ranger even though they are shorter. It's not as tight and supportive of my ankles like the Rangers are. Also, these are sized for women. I am normally a size 9.5 with 26 centimeter long feet and 9.5 centimeters wide. There aren't half sizes so I bought a 10. I have to lace the boots very tightly and put cottonballs inside the shoe so my toes don't slide forward. I also use heel inserts to support my flat feet. The Bratty boot seems to have a harder (hopefully more durable sole) than the foam sole with a rubbery bottom on the Ranger. Overall, I love the look of the boot and I made the 10 work. It'd be 5 stars if I could get them in a 9.5 women's size. The last 2 pictures compare the Bratty on one foot and the Ranger on the other. Hope this review helps you make your decision!
