I had been wanting a pair of these boots for over four years, but I wasn't sure how often I would wear them, and it felt like a bit much to spend on shoes I might never wear.

When my husband and I decided to have a micro wedding this year, I felt like I finally had a great reason to buy them.

The boots came quickly, and are surprisingly comfortable.

Being 4'10, the boots made me 5'4, which is awesome!

When not in use, they sit in my living room where I admire them daily.

I usually buy the open toe Ashes style, and the platform on these is very similar. It’s lightweight, flat so your toes don’t get crushed to the front and the buckles are adjustable all the way up. I’m very short but often have trouble finding a size 6 tall boot that also fits comfortably around my calves. These had lots of room. However I’m definitely a 6.5 in closed toe shoes so these were a bit tight. I used a shoe stretcher and it helped a bit. I was impressed that these held up to the extreme stretching without coming apart. All together I’d definitely recommend them. They are a statement piece but comfy enough to wear for almost any occasion.
