Very cute! I got them for my birthday. The bats make them perfect for a cute vampire girl flair. Unfortunately, they were too small, and I had to exchange them, which extended the delivery time, so I received the size up after my birthday. I usually wear a size 6 in the Shakers very comfortably, but I think Demonia’s shoes vary in sizing, so make sure to size up!

The metal bats appear to be removable because of the Velcro straps, but they are difficult to take off due to their shape. I don’t know why anyone would want to remove them though because the straps would look strange with nothing between them. I was surprised to see that the bats have DEMONIA embossed across them because it’s hard to tell from the website photo. The UV coffins are on the back of the platform. It was hard for me to tell where they were because of the tiny cropped picture demonstrating the UV glow on the website. They are not a secret compartment as far as I can tell, and I really don’t want to break my new shoes trying to pry them out LOL!

An important thing to remember is that these shoes slip on and do not strap, buckle, or lace up, so comfort time really depends on whether you want to wear socks or not…so plan your outfits accordingly! <3 These shoes also have Demonia’s iconic fat toe box, so they look a little funny when you look down at your feet.
