Not fat people friendly :/
The shoes are very good quality, and have very good seamwork. Mine did have a big scratch on the top of one boot and one rivet was missing from one of the metal pieces. However the issue, leather does stretch but if you're thicc good luck finding something that fits... don't bother getting a size bigger than you need too. I got a size and a half bigger than what I usually wear, still didn't work. My calves are around 20-21 inches around so if you're that size or bigger forget getting boots like these. Its to hard to get them on and even if leather stretches it isn't worth the pain of waiting for that to happen. Even so, there will be a gap between your tongue of the boot and the side of the shoe if you're able to get them on.
FYI: There are no store accommodations for making straps on shoes longer for bigger people.
I would recommend these shoes yes, but not to someone my size.
