I have 15.5 inch calves and these are perfectly roomy. I wanted them to have a bit of flare are the top and these are perfectly for the look. Have worn them out for 5-6 hours and more comfortable than I was expecting.

I’ve had the issue of boots not fitting my calves for a while and have had to settle for more adjustable options like docs. I love docs but I’ve also struggled with being short and wanting to see a bit better at concerts. So with these on I felt cute, could see a bit more and they were even slightly loose on the top of the boot. (Nothing annoying, just something I’ve never really experienced before) so happy with them, they are my new go to concert shoes. I could jump around, dance, walk comfortably and even run in them.

I so loved these boots online, and I was ready to love them in person! Unfortunately, the calf sizing just didn't quite work for me.
The standard size would have been too tight on my calves, and these were too loose at the top, but not uniformly. They were still tight on the inside of my knees, but at least 1.5 inches loose on the outside. It may just be the way my calves are shaped, but I'm sad these boots didn't fit me well.
Other than that, they were beautiful and seemed like high-quality construction! I would recommend to others with a more standard-shaped calf.
